2R Art have been instrumental in creating a new movement blending art, music, film and fashion. Their close relationship with both prestigious and intriguing venues enables them to create specifically tailored ‘fusion’ events that add an extra dimension to the typical art exhibition. This crossover of artistic genres creates a refreshing and stimulating atmosphere where each genre compliments one another and at the same time allows a greater client base to be made aware of the artists’ work.

The idea of artistic fusion is rooted in the very heart of the business and its founders:

Rachelle studied History of Art at University College London and School of Oriental and African Studies, covering Western and non-Western art including Asian, African Tribal Art, Chinese, Japanese and Indian and has been involved in the London Art Scene since 2003. Following in a family tradition Rachelle is also a trained actor and member of Equity having appeared in a number of short films and stage shows. She also spends time creating her own art pieces on canvas and photographs, as well as innovative pottery creations.

 

Richard has a great knowledge on theory and philosophy of art with an MA in philosophy from Edinburgh University as well as apt business skills from his time working in the city. His ‘creative’ career started when he moved into the music industry, which introduced him to a variety of photographers and artists, who were closely linked with the business. From here he found his passion within the world of art.

 

2R Art was created when Richard and Rachelle saw an opportunity to blend their artistic backgrounds to develop innovative ways of raising artists’ profiles and introducing a wider audience to their work.

 

 

2R Art also works closely with its art buying clients wishing to acquire works of art. These may be individuals seeking pieces for home or office, art investors or organizations wishing to put together collections for a specific application or installation.

 

We can also be hired to run full Fusion Events involving art, music and fashion, from small private parties to large corporate entertainment.
