Ben Yacobi

Ben Yacobi comes with a growing reputation as a first class reportage photographer for the music and entertainment industry.

 

His regular clients include Universal Island Records and the BBC, and he is currently working both on and off stage with Ivor Novello winning band The Feeling.

 

“I like my live music images either to suggest to the viewer that the performer is performing for them, or to make my presence as the photographer as obvious as possible short of actually placing parts of myself into the frame. When in a photo pit I understandably want to try to capture the energy of a performance which often results in my lens pointing towards the space around or in front of the artists rather than at them.”
